The World Inline Cup serves as the sport’s global benchmark and a meeting point for the very best in long distance inline skating.
The NorthShore Inline Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota, is one of the most iconic inline skating events in the world and offers an unforgettable point to point experience for skaters of all backgrounds. Scheduled for September 19, 2026, this 26.2 mile marathon follows the scenic North Shore of Lake Superior, giving participants sweeping lake views, fresh northern air, and a smooth, fast course built for personal bests.
Skaters begin north of Duluth and make their way south toward the city on a beautifully maintained stretch of roadway that consistently ranks among the best inline marathon routes in the nation. The final miles bring skaters into the heart of Duluth, including the thrilling approach toward the downtown waterfront.
The race finishes next to the historic William A. Irvin freighter, where thousands of cheering fans line the final stretch and create an energy that has become a signature of race day. The NorthShore Inline Marathon is known for its friendly atmosphere, strong community support, and dedication to participant safety. It welcomes skaters of all skill levels, from first timers to elite athletes, and remains North America’s largest and most celebrated inline marathon for good reason.
