SKATING AWARD GROUPS
ELITE INLINE MARATHON WAVE
With current numbers, we will have one start per gender with call ups for the front row. All skaters racing as Elite are eligible for both the overall podium and prize money and age group awards as applicable.
Awards (are top 3, female and male) in the following Age divisions –
Overall/Open (prize money payout TBA and reviewed at the Team Captains Meeting)
Elites are not eligible for Age Group Awards
Elites are eligible to be crowned the US National Championship of Inline Marathon’s
(Open to US Citizens Only)
35-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
All Elite divisions are eligible for claiming the US National Inline Marathon Champion title in their respective division, Overall or Masters. Only US citizens qualify to claim the title.
All ages (both open and masters) are eligible for the overall podium and prize money, as well as any applicable Masters Age Division. There are no prize money payouts for the Masters Age divisions, but Masters National Championship Jerseys will be awarded in each Masters age class.
NON-ELITE WAVE NORTHSHORE INLINE MARATHON EVENT AGE GROUP AWARDS
Age Group Awards (are top 3, female and male) in the following Age divisions (At the request of the greater inline skating community, Elite Wave racers are not eligible for these age group awards) –
15&Under, 16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
Plus a Quad division in a single open age group division. (Top 3, female and male)
Plus a Non-Binary division in a single open age group division (Top 3).
Awards (are top 3, female and male) in an open age division and then (top 3, female and male) in the following Age divisions –
15 & Under, 16-17, 18-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Plus the Quad division in a single open age group division, female and male. (First Place ONLY)
Plus a Non-Binary division in a single open age group division (Top 3).
Inline Combined (Both Half and Full Marathons) Event –
Awards (are top 3, female and male) in a single open age division per gender, there are no age group awards in this event.

Finden Marketing Tunnel 10K Event –

Roller Skiing 42K Event –
Awards (are top 3, female and male) in an open age division and then awards for a junior age group, female and male, of 19 and under.
Plus a Non-Binary division in a single open age group division (Top 3).
Roller Skiing 21K Event –
Awards (are top 3, female and male) in an open age division and then awards for junior age groups, female and male, of 15 & under, and 16-19.
INLINE SKATING FULL MARATHON TEAMS
Divisions: Male, Female, and Co-Ed
Any Race Team, Skate Club or other formal or informal group of skaters can create a team to compete in this Male and Female division. Requirements are:
The total times from the top 5 skaters in each team will be combined to compete for an award
The team with the lowest time after the 5 are added up wins
Any Race Team, Skate Club or other formal or informal group of skaters can create a team to compete in this Co-Ed division. Requirements are:
Two Male and Two Female skaters must be included in the total times
The total times from the top 5 skaters in each team will be combined to compete for an award
The team with the lowest time after the 5 are added up wins
Any Race Team, Running Club or other formal or informal group of runners can create a team to compete in this Co-Ed division. Requirements are:
Two Male and Two Female runners must be included in the total times
The total times from the top 5 runners in each team will be combined to compete for an award

YOUTH HOCKEY TEAM CHALLENGE AWARD
The twin ports area rink association that has the most representation in the 10k Challenge skate wins the Youth Hockey Challenge Team Award. This award is run on the honor system, and it is the responsibility of each Rink Association to comply with the spirit of the award. Requirements are that the Rink Association Team must be registered through RunSignUp and managed according to the Youth Hockey Team Challenge rules. The Youth Hockey Team Challenge Award will be awarded to the Rink Association Team with the most race registrants in the Tunnel 10K skate. We encourage each team member to wear apparel representing their rink such as a team T-Shirt or their Jersey.
