6.2 Miles | Loop
This family-friendly event is a non-competitive fun skate for anyone looking for less than the challenge of a half marathon. Nearly 100% on I-35 Interstate Highway, travel through six tunnels in this unique skating experience! This race finishes alongside the famous William A. Irvin freighter as a crowd of fans cheer you on.
This is a fantastic option for less experienced skaters and offers a relatively flat race route for those who don’t like skating on hills. This race does not have bussing and racers should park at the DECC and meet on the interstate overpass near the Depot.

Get ready to tap into the energy of race-weekend at the “Rollerblade® Health Expo,” happening Friday September 18th at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) from 3pm to 9 pm. It’s the perfect chance for runners registered for the half-marathon or 10k to pick up your race packet, browse gear, and fuel your final preparation for race day. With over 70 vendors it’s perfect to get whatever you need to tackle the race!
It is the best race for families. My three kids and I have been doing this race for years and we love the community. Everyone is so happy and welcoming, and we could not ask for a better location. The atmosphere is upbeat from start to finish and there is always something fun happening. It has become a tradition we look forward to every year and a chance for all of us to enjoy the day together.
Being the Largest Inline Marathon in the US, the NorthShore Inline Marathon is an amazing race that you up the Northshore and gives you the ultimate inline skating experience this side of the globe.
If I were you, I wouldn’t miss out on this.
