Duluth / Two Harbors
- Munger Trail – A 70-mile smooth paved trail from Duluth south to Hinckley.
- Park Point – Across the Duluth Lift Bridge, skate Minnesota Avenue for about 4 miles out and back.
- Duluth Lakewalk – A paved trail stretching nearly the whole city of Duluth (Canal Park can be congested in summer).
- Scenic Highway 61 – Skate on the NSIM race course along the North Shore of Lake Superior (be aware of traffic, skate with traffic, wear high-visibility gear).
Twin Cities area highlights
- Cleary Lake Park (Prior Lake) – paved loop with rest/water stops along the 3.5 mile route.
- East and West River Parkway (Minneapolis) – travel alongside the Mississippi River on either bank.
- Baker Park Reserve (Maple Plain) – challenging 12.5-mile trail system with hills.
- Elm Creek Park Reserve (Maple Grove) – 20+ miles of paved trails with options from easy to challenging.
