Experience Munger Trail 2018 is a group trail skate and ride to highlight the newly paved Munger Trail sections here in Duluth, Minnesota. Let’s get outside, enjoy the spring weather, and get some exercise on this scenic and fun trail! Experience Munger Trail is a FREE event and everyone is encouraged to join us–skaters, cyclists, runners, and even baby strollers!
In the historic Duluth flood in 2012, portions of the Munger Trail were washed out and in rough shape for years. Sections were gravel, bad pavement, and really impassible for inline skates. In late 2017, crews finished repaving 5 miles from Grand Avenue to Beck’s Road. We are so thankful for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for completing this huge project.
At noon, meet us at Clyde Iron Works for Mother’s Day Brunch! They have their normal menu, plus specials of French Toast is for $11.95 and the Salomon Quiche for $13.95. Also, moms get a FREE mimosa!!
