Things we are looking for in a NorthShore Ambassador
Have competed in any NSIM race
In order to promote our one-of-a-kind event properly, we ask that you have experience participating in it. So if you have done any of our races including skate, run, or our rollerski events in the past we are looking for you. Bonus points to those who have been doing our race for years! Apply today and help grow our race.
Active Online Presence
For our ambassador program we are looking for those who can get the word out about our amazing events. For that reason we are looking for those individuals who have a fun online presence. Don't have an online presence but think you'll be a great ambassador? We want you too! Apply below to join our ambassador team.
A lover of the sport
We believe that being active outdoors is a way of life. For this reason, we are looking for ambassadors who are a part of a local community of adventurers that can be fired up to join us and be a part of our event. Apply today and help grow our event.
About the Role
NorthShore is looking for friendly and approachable people who love our events and are great at sharing our message with the inline skating, running, and rollerskiing communities.
As a NorthShore Ambassador, you’ll help promote our Race Organization and its events to both current and potential participants. Your involvement will boost NorthShore's profile, increase participation, and ensure everyone has a great time at our events.
In this role, you'll use your creativity and people skills to help us grow our presence on social media, at group events, and through face-to-face interactions at our Health and Fitness Expo and Oktoberfest Afterparty.

NorthShore Ambassador Objectives:

Be a face of NorthShore at various Race Weekend activities.

Build and maintain positive relationships within our community to enhance the experience of our events.

Work with our marketing team to develop effective strategies to raise awareness and draw more participants to our races.

Grow your own social media presence by creating engaging content and interacting with followers to build a supportive community.
Ambassador Opportunities:

Connect with our community during our Health and Fitness Expo, Oktoberfest celebration, and while training for various disciplines.

Spread the word about NorthShore events through social media and other marketing channels.

Hand out promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and save-the-date cards.
Job Requirements:

Be available during our event weekend to help enhance the experience for racers and fans.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Strong communication and people skills.

Ability to build and maintain good relationships with our community.

Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.

Experience with social and other marketing media.
Benefits:

Earn $10 for every new participant you bring on board through your personal entry link.

Get your race entry fee refunded or receive a free entry if you earn $100 or more in commissions.
