New this year, we are very happy to announce that St. Germain’s Cabinet of Duluth is sponsoring the NorthShore Run by designing and manufacturing finisher medals, which are not quite your typical “medal”.
Finishers of the Wheels Off Half Marathon and Tunnel 10k will get a custom Corain cutting board. These small cutting boards are perfect for cutting a lime wedge or slicing up a few strawberries. The dishwasher-safe 4″x6″ slabs are actually re-purposed waste scraps from other St. Germain’s Cabinet projects.
Corain is a non-porous acrylic material typically used for commercial and residential applications like countertops, sink basins, and kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Being non-porous, it does not hold water and is non-bacterial, making it a great surface for the kitchen and bathroom, but also a cutting board!
St. Germain’s Cabinet, Inc. is a custom millwork shop that specializes in commercial and residential casework, millwork, laminate, solid surface and quartz countertops. We are very excited to once again partner with St. Germain’s because they are a great local company, an important employer and economic driver in the Duluth area.
St. Germain’s Cabinet works on a lot of large, national custom construction projects. Some upcoming commercial projects include the Vikings Training Camp lockers and facility build-out, which could take up to 2-3 years of construction. Also, St. Germain’s has their hand in the renovation of the historic North Shore Theater in Duluth to its original look. Recently, they worked on the new Duluth International Airport and Maurices headquarters in Duluth. See below for pictures of these projects!
