Alternate Pavement/Tarmac Finish Line for the Rollerski

The NorthShore Inline Marathon is proud to announce an alternate finish route for the Inaugural Rollerski Marathon.  The finish will be on blacktop/pavement/tarmac to accommodate skiers poles with a straight stretch of 400 M making for an exciting sprint finish!

Instead of finishing around the back side of the DECC area and in front of the William A. Irvin on cement, the skiers will take a right turn off of the 5th St. overpass.  They will continue to railroad street and finish on the north side of the Duluth 10 Theater.

Here is a detailed map of the finish starting at the 5th St. ramp and finishing on Railroad St.

I am very excited to be trying out this new finish. It is going to be great for both the spectators and the skaters. This will really allow the skates to open up and let it all out for the finish.
