Board Members
Todd Campbell – Chairman
Todd was raised right here in Duluth. He went to Duluth Cathedral High School, graduating in 1979. He continued on to Princeton University, graduating in 1983 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
He has been employed as a registered professional civil engineer by the Minnesota Department of Transportation in Duluth since 1987, performing a variety of duties including that of District Soils Engineer (responsible for designing pavement structures), Construction Project Engineer (responsible for the field construction of Leif Erikson Park and much of the Duluth Lakewalk, among many other projects), District Surveys Engineer, and most recently District Hydraulics Engineer and Project Manager.
Todd is also a skating enthusiast and has completed every NSIM. He owned possibly the first pair of inline skates in Duluth, crude frames and wheels bolted to hockey boots, in 1980.
Other interests include… inline skating, x-c skiing, roller-skiing, running, canoeing, camping, travel. He also coaches youth soccer and hockey in Superior and serves on the Board of Trustees for Marshall School and the Board of Directors for Mars Lakeview Arena.
Todd is resident of Superior since 1990. He and his wife Sue have 3 children.

Angela Toftey
Angela Toftey – Secretary
Angela Toftey was born and raised in Duluth. She is a graduate of Duluth East High School and later received her B.S. in accounting and Spanish minor from St. Cloud State University. Angela has been practicing accounting since 2006 when she started her career with Ernst & Young in Minneapolis. After Angela married her high school crush, Peter Toftey, in 2010, she and her husband couldn’t resist the urge to return to their Duluth, MN roots. She has been working for Kolquist, Seitz & Goldman, LLC since the move in December 2010. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Angela has completed every North Shore Inline Marathon (except one) since she became eligible to participate in 1998. Her other interests include, running, biking, golf, accounting for things, Duluth and as of late, home improvement projects. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of CPAs. She also volunteers teaching business and economic concepts to Duluth area students through Junior Achievement.
The Tofteys have a former racing greyhound named Atlas.

Andre Watt
Andre Watt
Andre was born in Duluth and grew up on the numerous local nordic ski trails. Inspired by his father, Adrian, a 1968 US Olympic team member, he quickly became one of the areas top skiers. As a junior competitor, he was one of the top skiers his age in the United States, winning 2 silver medals at the USSA Junior Olympics. Watt trained under respected Russian coaches Nikolai and Antonina Anikin as an independent racer before moving onto the CXC Elite Team in 2005. As a member of team CXC, Watt placed 6th in the 2010 American Birkie. Watt continues to train and race for the Rossignol Marathon Team.
He also won the inaugural Rollerski division at the 2011 edition of the Northshore Inline Marathon. Currently, Andre is the nordic ski team development coach at St. Scholastica and also manages Continental Ski and Bike in Duluth. As a newly appointed board member, he will undoubtably provide valuable insight into helping the North Shore inline with developing the new Rollerski events.

Scott Soderberg
Scott Soderberg – Treasurer
A native Duluthian, Scott graduated from Duluth East High School and UMD where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and played baseball. He is married to another UMD graduate from Eveleth, MN Mary and has two children, Eric who has skated every inline and Angie Toftey, who has completed darn near every one!
Scott has been involved with youth hockey as a coach and rink director, Duluth’s Harbortown Rotary Club as a past president, Voyageur Area Boy Scout Council as a board member, The Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival as the 2012 Co-Chair and as Transportation and Logistics Degree Advisory Board President at UWS.
Professionally, Scott has been in the food service industry for 35 years, for the past 30 and currently with Upper Lakes Foods, Inc. of Cloquet, MN.
Scott and Mary are Lester Park residents and he has skated 13 marathons with one of the most memorable being the race where he and Steve Sertich skated the race with Steve’s father Mark with Mark skating a time of 1:45 (at the tender age of 80), a record that still stands for the inline!
Curt Dimberio
Employment: Moline Machinery, LLC., a leading manufacturer of industrial baking equipment.
Curt Dimberio was born and raised on the Iron Range. He graduated from Mountain Iron – Buhl High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He resides in Lakewood Township with his wife Stacey, daughters Cursta and Taran, and mother-in-law Lucille.
Curt has skated all but the first North Shore Inline Marathon. His other interests include building with logs, Nordic skiing, playing hockey, UMD Bulldog Hockey nights with his family, BWCA trips, hunting, fishing, and making pancakes.

Jay Seiler
Employment : Jay is a 3rd generation partner of his families jewelry store, Security Jewelers.
Jay, a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth (Communications), has been on the NorthShore Inline Marathon board since it’s first year in 1996. Also in1996 he established securityjewelers.com which at the time was a pioneer in the eCommerce jewelry field. Today, securityjewelers.com has established itself as one of the countries premier high end eCommerce jewelry stores.
A is a lifelong Duluth resident with 6 years away in Idaho, Colorado, Montana and Arizona and has been married to his wife Cara since 1987 and has 2 children, Michael and Kevin. Jay is a big booster of Duluth as a year round recreation area. His summer evenings are busy coaching little league and soccer. He is an avid downhill and cross country skier participating in those sports nearly his entire life and has been an inline skater since he received a pair as a father’s day gift in 1991. You can catch Jay skating almost every morning nearly year round on the lakewalk and other areas.

Charter member of the City of Duluth’s Charitable Gambling Commission–served six years.

Wade Lillegard, M.D.
Wade Lillegard, M.D.

Dr. Lillegard is a graduate of Carrol College, Helena MT (BS) and Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD. He completed his Family Practice Residency through Martin Army Hospital and his Sports Medicine Fellowship through Michigan State University.
Dr. Lillegard resides in Duluth’s Lakeside area with his wife, Jayne and children Robert, Kathryn and Michael. He is a Col., Minnestoa Air Nation Guard and is a Gulf War veteran (Army). His interests include running, skiing, camping, biking, travel.

Jane Gilbert-Howard

Jane holds a BA in Nursing, College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, MN; MS in Nursing, University of Minnesota, Mpls; and national certifications in Infection Control and Diabetes Education
Jane lives on the Scenic North Shore along the race course! Her family includes spouse, Ken and 5 grown childres….Peder and grandson Thaden, Bryan (Tracy) and granddaughter Emmma, Jon (Brooke), Angela and Daniel. Jane is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, National Honor Society for Nurses, Minnesota Nurses’ Association, Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, American Diabetes Association.
Jane is also a competitive athlete participating in the USASA (USA Snowboard Association) National Championships 2005, second place in age group for Half-pipe, Alpine (Slalom and Giant Slalom) and Triple Overall (Freestyle, Alpine, and Boardercross)..she was a national qualifier the previous 3 years. Jane has placed first, second, and third in age group for various 5K running races and is a participant in the NorthShore Inline Marathon (family team “Gilberts and You”). Other interests include kayaking, cross country skiing, stained glass and knitting.

Skeeter Moore – Executive Director
Skeeter Moore brings over 15 years of marketing, public relations and development experience to the NorthShore Inline Marathon. Moore is a former UMD and professional hockey player, and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelors degree in Communications.
Moore, who spent 5 years in marketing and development at the University of Duluth Minnesota Athletics, sees tremendous growth potential in the event, and believes a great deal of this potential comes from the race location and beautiful course.
Skeeter served as committee chair for a 40 person Athletic Committee which coordinates events and activities for a 250 plus membership for the Duluth Rotary 25. Other community involvement includes: Advisory Board Member for the Jim Morrissey Youth Athletic Foundation, Vice President Schultz Lake, Lake Association, Neighbors of Lower Chester Park Board Member, Lake Superior Fund Raising Executives, Volunteer Youth athletic coach, hockey, soccer and baseball, and he has raised over $28,000 for the past nine years as a volunteer rider for the Blackwoods Blizzard Tour snowmobile ride to raise funds to find a cure for ALS, Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Tone Coughlin
Tone Coughlin – Race Director
Tone brings 18 years of previous race experience to the inline marathon as a former elite cyclist and four year race director for the Duluth Classic Stage Race. He also competed in inline skating, xc-skiing, running, triathlon, and swimming all over North America and twice as a professional in Central America.
From 2002 to 2010, Tone coached swimmers and triathletes at Cloquet High School and the North Shore Swim Club of UMD as the head coach of each program. He is still coaching working with the Duluth Marshall Boys’ swim program.
Coughlin is currently training and racing sprint sled dogs and maintaining a small kennel of 14 professional athletes. Visit Endurance Kennels.
